Computer World
On May 6 this year Kraftwerk co-founder Florian Schneider passed away.
In this sad occasion, I wanted to pay tribute to one band which not only had a huge impact on the music world, but also on the "philosophy" which animates me, my Father and, I'm sure, a fair share of all bot-makers, programmers and tech enthusiasts out there.
Robots as subjects, not objects. An almost Futurist, in the classical sense of the term, unwavering faith in technology and progress as a mean to make our lives better. Robots and machines which are not antagonists but co-protagonists. And, above all, the possibility of the Machine existing as a Creative Being.
This is what Kraftwerk meant for me, and for many of you, I'm sure. And that's why Florian Schneider will be deeply missed.
In this tribute I mixed some album covers from the Band, together with posters from their concerts.
As usual, I hope you'll enjoy the result.
