The Pandemic

As the world goes in an unprecedented lock-down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I've been asked to work on a series of works inspired by this theme.

Those works were created starting from artworks from the past, illustrating the various plagues that the mankind had to face: the black death, the great plague, as narrated by many paintings, prints and frescoes. Those has been mixed also with pictures from the current pandemic: empty cities, medical staff with surgical masks, and all the content that circulated on social media in those times.
